Then cut the mozzarella into slices of the same thickness. Also prepare the slices of smoked cod and, if you prefer, cut them into strips for a more uniform presentation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a large plate or platter, alternate tomato, mozzarella and smoked cod slices, and place a fresh basil leaf between each tomato and mozzarella slice for a fresh and aromatic touch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, dress the salad with a good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste and, if you enjoy the sweet-acid contrast, add a few drops of balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes and mozzarella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ADVICE<br>You can accompany this salad with crusty bread.
